The rich toffee is made with brown sugar plus fresh butter from the dairy farms of Wisconsin, studded with bits of English walnuts from the orchards of northern California.
 

When he developed this flavor, Chef Ed says he was going for the taste of rich, tangy cheddar and smoky, savory bacon - one of the most awesome flavor combinations of all time! Of course, we didn't use any bacon in our Country Smokehouse Cheddar Popcorn, but the flavor is there, thanks to an amazing natural smoke flavor. Combined with an insane amount of real cheddar cheese, natural sea salt and rich, creamery butter, the result is this tongue-tickling sensation. Wow!
